Our Team at Global Faces Direct decided to celebrate our moms this Mother’s Day with a fundraising activity for Amref Health Africa in Canada. The past year has been a real challenge for all of us – but especially for moms!
So we decided as a team to combine some physical activity with a fundraising event. On May 1 – 8, 2021 our team will be participating in a week long “socially distanced walk-a-thon”. That’s right, we will be raising funds, while ensuring everyone stays safe while celebrating moms here in Canada and across Africa. And we will be getting some exercise for a great cause!
Our team members will be walking each day for moms in neighbourhoods across the GTA. That’s over 10 locations where our colleagues will be walking for moms. We are making it happen – now it’s your turn.
Our Challenge to You
Regardless of your organization or team size – we challenge your office or team to get up and get moving for moms this Mother’s Day! It’s simple and your efforts will support basic health essential for moms and babies in Africa.
