Gift in Memory of

Amref Canada and the global Amref family would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Bridget Lawson. Bridget was an ardent supporter, an extraordinary cheerleader, and a dear friend to Amref for over 45 years. She was one of the earliest board members of Amref Canada and played a significant role in laying the foundation for the credible health organization we are today. Most importantly perhaps, Bridget was Amref Canada’s first Executive Director, and in that role, she laid the groundwork for leadership that aims for excellence, innovation and vibrancy. It was my pleasure meeting Bridget when I visited Canada in 2015; her dedication towards Amref was undeniable and inspiring. Bridget’s warmth will be deeply missed, but we will remain forever grateful for her work in shaping the Amref that we are today.
