Dave joined Amref Health Africa in Canada in October 2020. He brings over twenty years of integrated marketing, adverting, product and project management experience working with organizations of all sizes in both the not-for-profit and business sectors.
He is an innovative senior marketing strategist that specializes in leading and growing market share through revenue diversification while enhancing donor loyalty and retention. Dave has also led national television, radio and digital advertising campaigns and customer service teams. He has led digital transformation strategies for many organizations, including the development and implemented multi-year projects, branding, research, public outreach and communications.
Dave is graduate of the University of Toronto, a Chartered Marketer, and a self-proclaimed life learner. He has led many high performing teams throughout his career in building brand awareness through innovative products, services and delivery.
Dave’s most recent career journey includes two years at Abilities Centre and nine years with Christian Children’s Fund of Canada (Children Believe) where he built teams and led the organizational marketing, brand revitalization, revenue diversification, social media, digital transformation and strategic innovation projects.
He also spent over ten years in the financial services industry in the direct to consumer and affinity market divisions. His efforts focused on marketing, business development, partnerships as well as product development with leading financial institutions.
